Injection Mold Financing

Tooling Investment Made Accessible

Brown Tool & Mold financing programs are designed to help manufacturers move forward on injection mold investment without depleting working capital. Payment terms are agreed upfront before the mold build begins. Contact us to discuss the right program for your situation.

Preserve Cash Flow

Spread your tooling investment over time and keep working capital available for operations, materials, and growth. Financing lets you move forward on the production program you need without committing your full capital upfront.

Formal Written Agreement

Every financing program requires a signed BTM Financing Agreement before the mold build begins. All payment terms and program duration are agreed and documented in writing upfront so both parties are clear from day one.

Signed Agreement

Every financing program requires a signed BTM Financing Agreement before the mold build begins. Small business owners also sign a personal guarantee. Corporate programs require a PO or authorized signoff. All terms are documented and agreed upfront.

Financing Programs

Three Injection Mold Financing Options

Brown Tool & Mold offers three distinct financing structures. Each is designed for a different production situation and cash flow requirement. Contact us to discuss which program fits your program best.

Option 01

Standard Loan

The most straightforward financing option. Pay a down payment at mold approval and make fixed monthly installments over the agreed term. Simple, predictable, and easy to budget for.

  • Down payment at time of mold approval
  • Fixed monthly payments over agreed term
  • Standard amortizing loan structure
  • Available for small business and corporate customers
  • Personal guarantee required for small business owners
Best for predictable budget programs
Option 02

Deferred Start

Same structure as the standard loan but with a deferred payment period at the start — no payments required while the mold is being built and while your production ramp-up period begins. Interest accrues during the deferral period and is rolled into the monthly payment.

  • Down payment at time of mold approval
  • No payments during agreed deferral period
  • Interest accrues during deferral
  • Fixed monthly payments begin after deferral ends
  • Ideal when production revenue will fund payments
  • Available for small business and corporate customers
Best for programs starting up production
Option 03

Lease-to-Own

A reduced down payment option with monthly lease payments over the agreed term. Own the mold outright at the end of the lease period. The majority of the mold cost is financed over the term with a lower upfront capital requirement than the standard loan.

  • Reduced down payment compared to standard loan
  • Fixed monthly payments over lease term
  • Full mold ownership at end of term
  • Higher monthly payment than standard loan
  • Available for small business and corporate customers
Best for minimizing upfront capital outlay

Does financing affect MoldGuard™ warranty coverage?

No. Every mold Brown Tool & Mold builds — whether purchased outright or financed — is covered under the BTM MoldGuard™ warranty on identical terms. Financing does not affect warranty coverage, lifecycle documentation, or engineering support.

Is financing available for globally sourced molds?

Contact us to discuss financing on globally sourced mold programs. Financing availability on offshore tooling depends on the program structure and customer type. All globally sourced molds are covered by MoldGuard™ regardless of financing arrangement.

Is a personal guarantee required?

A personal guarantee from the business owner is required for small business financing programs. Corporate and large company financing is handled through signed financing agreements, corporate POs, or authorized signoffs without a personal guarantee requirement.
